The Police Recruitment Board (PRB) has announced that the 10,000 successful applicants from the 2022 Constable recruitment will commence training on August 10. Specialist applicants are scheduled to begin their training two months after their General Duty counterparts. The Police Service Commission (PSC) will announce the specific dates and venues for the specialised training in due course.

In a statement issued in Abuja, Ikechukwu Ani, the Head of Press and Public Relations of the PSC, expressed appreciation for the applicants' patience and understanding during the recruitment process. Ani assured that the commission remains committed to an inclusive and merit-based recruitment process that adheres to Federal Character principles.
The commission encouraged the successful candidates to view their new roles as a call to duty for the nation, emphasizing that their training will be closely monitored to ensure they are well-prepared to tackle the security challenges facing Nigeria.
