Real Madrid defender Dani Carvajal will be out for around a month after suffering a calf injury in Saturday’s 5-2 loss to Atletico Madrid.
The 33-year-old is now a major doubt for the Clasico against Barcelona on October 26. He’s also set to miss Champions League ties with Kairat and Juventus, La Liga games against Villarreal and Getafe, plus Spain’s upcoming World Cup qualifiers.
With Trent Alexander-Arnold also sidelined, Madrid may once again turn to Fede Valverde to cover at right-back.
