The Abia State Civil Service Commission has told the public that the ongoing recruitment of healthcare workers is free, fair, and strictly based on merit.
Chairman of the commission, Eno Eze, said on Monday that claims of people buying recruitment slots are completely untrue. He explained that the application, computer test, and interview stages were set up to be transparent and to make sure only qualified people are picked.
Eze added that many applicants and stakeholders have already commended the process for being open and credible. He also promised that the final results and documentation status of successful candidates will be posted publicly on the commission’s recruitment portal.
He encouraged the public to trust the process and report any genuine case of misconduct through the official portal, assuring that any confirmed wrongdoing will be dealt with.
According to him, the aim is to put together a strong and professional healthcare workforce for Abia State.
