The Nigerian Army has stopped a terrorist attack in Taraba State and killed two of the attackers.
The 6 Brigade troops got information on October 1 that bandits were meeting at Tor-Ikyeghgba village. They moved in quickly and met the terrorists along the powerline area. A gun battle followed, and the soldiers overpowered them, killing two.
After the fight, the soldiers recovered guns, bullets, a radio, a motorcycle, and other items.

The Brigade Commander, Brigadier General Kingsley Uwa, praised his men for acting fast and doing their job well. He promised the people of Taraba that the Army will continue to protect them and asked the public to keep helping with useful information.
