The decision to field a second-string team is aimed at conserving energy and assessing fringe players ahead of Nigeria’s crucial Africa Cup of Nations qualifying matches. Key stars, including Victor Osimhen, have been rested for the encounter.
Stanley Nwabali starts in goal, while the defence features Bright Osayi-Samuel, Sanusi and Ogbu. The midfield will be anchored by Raphael Onyedika alongside new call-up Akinsanmiro, with Dele-Bashiru and Onyeka also involved.
