The Adamawa State Police Command has arrested two suspected kidnappers in connection with the abduction of a four-year-old boy in Numan Local Government Area of Adamawa State.

The command’s spokesperson, Suleiman Nguroje, disclosed this in a statement on Friday, explaining that the child’s father, Umar Ibrahim, reported the incident at a police station in Numan on March 2, 2026.

According to the statement, Ibrahim told police that his four-year-old son, Ramadan, went out to play on March 1 but failed to return home. The family initially searched for the boy but could not find him.

“Some days later, the complainant received a call from an unknown number informing him that his son had been kidnapped and demanding a ransom of ₦800,000,” the statement said.
