The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has revealed that former presidential candidate Peter Obi visited former Attorney-General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami, SAN, to show support over his ongoing legal proceedings.
In a statement on Tuesday, the party said, “HE Peter Obi visits Abubakar Malami SAN to express support over his recent experiences with the EFCC, DSS and subsequent court proceedings by the Federal High Court FCT.”
Details of the meeting, including its duration and discussions, have not been disclosed, though some reports indicate it took place in Abuja.
Malami is currently facing two separate cases: one involving allegations of terrorism financing and illegal firearms possession, and another concerning N8.7 billion fraud and money laundering.
