Ghana have parted ways with head coach Otto Addo, just hours after a 2-1 friendly defeat to Germany and barely 70 days before the World Cup.
The Black Stars lost to Germany in Stuttgart on Monday, with Deniz Undav scoring a late winner to seal the victory for the hosts. The result marked Ghana’s fourth consecutive defeat, coming days after a heavy 5-1 loss to Austria.
In a statement, the Ghana Football Association thanked Addo for his service, saying, “The association wishes to thank Otto Addo sincerely for his contribution to the team and wishes him the best in his future endeavours.”
