The relatively narrow gap between the official and parallel market rates reflects continued stability in Nigeria’s foreign exchange market.
Market analysts attribute the steady performance of the naira to the Central Bank of Nigeria’s monetary policy measures, improved management of foreign exchange liquidity and healthy external reserves.
Meanwhile, traders and businesses continue to monitor demand for foreign exchange, particularly as import transactions and international payments remain key drivers of activity in the market.
