AGN Holds Candlelight Procession for Late Nollywood Icons Mr Ibu, Amaechi Muonagor, and Zulu Adigwe

The Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) organized a solemn candlelight procession to honor the late Nollywood actors John Okafor, popularly known as 'Mr Ibu,' Amaechi Muonagor, and Zulu Adigwe. The event took place on Monday night at the Unity Fountain in Abuja, drawing fans, friends, and colleagues of the deceased veterans.

Led by AGN National President Emeka Rollas, the procession saw notable figures such as Kenneth Okonkwo, Zack Orji, and Sidney Idiala in attendance. In a heartfelt display of respect, attendees shared emotional tributes, celebrating the significant contributions of the late actors to the Nigerian film industry. Mercy Salma, the FCT mayor of AGN, emphasized the event's purpose to honor the legacies of these beloved actors who brought joy to countless Nigerians and fans across Africa.

Emeka Rollas highlighted the procession as a testament to the solidarity within the actors' guild and a reflection on the cherished moments shared with the late thespians. Rollas also noted the importance of reflecting on how actors wish to be remembered for their contributions.

He urged young artists to focus on delivering value rather than seeking quick financial gains, emphasizing the importance of dedication in achieving lasting success in the industry.
