The National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, assured Nigerians that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's decisions, policies, and programs will propel the country to prosperity and development. Ganduje expressed this confidence on Thursday night while hosting officials of the Forum of APC Local Government Chairmen of Nigeria at the party’s national secretariat in Abuja.
Praising President Tinubu's leadership, Ganduje emphasized that the President has taken bold and unprecedented steps to drive progress and prosperity. He remarked, "Our President, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, is a grassroots politician, tested and trusted. He has made courageous decisions that previous administrations could not, and soon, the positive effects of his reforms will be evident."
Ganduje highlighted significant upcoming changes, including the anticipated production of abundant fuel by Nigeria's refineries and the introduction of CNG vehicles, which will make transportation more affordable. "The reforms Asiwaju is introducing will take Nigeria to the next level," he added.
Regarding party administration, Ganduje informed the Local Government Chairmen about efforts by the National Working Committee (NWC) to revitalize the APC and ensure its functionality as the governing party. He stated, "We have requested that all our party offices, from ward to zonal levels, be operational and physically habitable to show that the party is active not just during elections but throughout the year."
Ganduje commended the grassroots leaders for their dedication to the party's development, acknowledging the challenges they face, especially during elections and primaries. He referred to them as the party's "foot soldiers" and expressed appreciation for their commitment. "We know how you bear the demands of the party followers during election times, and we appreciate your efforts," Ganduje concluded.
