CDCFIB releases shortlist, sets date for recruitment CBT across Paramilitary agencies

ABUJA — The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has released the shortlist of candidates who took part in its recent recruitment exercise into the Nigerian Correctional Service (NCOS), Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), Federal Fire Service (FFS), and Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC).

In a statement issued on Wednesday night, the Board’s Secretary, Maj. Gen. A. M. Jibril (Rtd.), announced that applicants can begin checking their status on the official recruitment portal — https://recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng — from Thursday, October 30, 2025.

He added that the portal will also display details of each shortlisted candidate’s Computer-Based Test (CBT), including the date, time, and venue.

Jibril urged all applicants to follow the official instructions carefully and ignore any messages or claims from unofficial sources or individuals posing as representatives of the Board.

He further warned against scammers offering to manipulate the recruitment process, stressing that the selection is entirely transparent and based on merit.

According to the Board, the recruitment covers four major paramilitary agencies under its supervision, aimed at boosting national security, public safety, and service efficiency across the country.
