A cholera outbreak has resulted in the death of a 62-year-old woman and the hospitalization of five others in Ijebu-Igbo, Ijebu-North Local Government Area of Ogun State. The woman succumbed to the disease while caring for her infected child, who is among those hospitalized. The incident, which occurred three days ago, was confirmed by the Ogun State Commissioner for Health, Dr. Tomi Coker.
