A counter-protester revealed that they were promised N5,000 to demonstrate against the anti-hunger protests. Speaking to a Punch correspondent in Abuja on Thursday, the unnamed protester said he received N2,000 upfront and was promised the remaining amount after the demonstration.
Despite the payment, the protester admitted that the money would not solve his hunger issues, highlighting the ongoing economic struggles faced by many.
