Ekiti Governor Biodun Oyebanji has called on Nigerians to support President Bola Tinubu in tackling the current economic challenges, attributing them to the previous administration. Speaking at the monthly Evening of Praise and Worship program in Ado-Ekiti, Governor Oyebanji expressed confidence in President Tinubu's ability to address these issues with time and support.
During the event at the Lady Jibowu Hall, Government House, Governor Oyebanji emphasized the importance of faith and prayer for Nigeria, Ekiti State, and the President. He urged Nigerians to rally behind President Tinubu, emphasizing that the President is not the cause of the crises but rather has been prepared by God for such a time.
Governor Oyebanji stressed the need for support, prayers, understanding, and encouragement for President Tinubu. He acknowledged the challenges facing the nation and expressed optimism that with collective efforts and perseverance, Nigeria will overcome these difficulties.
In attendance at the event were Deputy Governor Chief (Mrs) Monisade Afuye, the Governor's wife and convener of the program, Dr. Olayemi Oyebanji, as well as other top government officials.
