Nollywood actress Faithia Balogun has shared the burial arrangements for her late mother, Gloria Williams.
The actress made the announcement on her Instagram page on Monday, expressing gratitude to friends, colleagues and fans who have reached out to her since her mother’s passing.
According to the schedule released by the family, a wake-keep will be held on Friday, March 6. This will be followed by the interment and lying-in-state on Saturday, March 7, while a Thanksgiving Mass is scheduled for Sunday, March 8, at St. Monica Catholic Church.

Faithia explained that the ceremonies will be strictly private, with attendance limited to close friends and relatives by invitation only. She noted that a separate date would later be announced for a larger public burial ceremony to accommodate others who wish to pay their respects.
In her message, she thanked everyone who had shown support during the difficult period.
“I want to specifically thank everyone who has reached out since the demise of my dear mother. I’m truly grateful for the emotional support, the calls, the visits and the show of love. May Allah (SWT) bless you all,” she wrote.
