The federal government has announced the indefinite suspension of the Air Nigeria Airline project. This decision was disclosed by the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace, Festus Keyamo, during a ministerial briefing celebrating the first year of President Bola Tinubu's administration.
Keyamo explained that the airline was never genuinely Nigerian. Instead, it was an attempt to impersonate a foreign airline operating within Nigeria. This revelation has led to the suspension of the project, marking a significant shift in the nation's aviation policy.
