King Charles III and Queen Camilla Welcome President Tinubu to Windsor Castle

King Charles III and Queen Camilla formally received Bola Tinubu and his wife, Oluremi Tinubu, at Windsor Castle on Wednesday. The arrival was shared on X.com by the President’s Special Assistant on Social Media, Dada Olusegun.

During the ceremonial welcome, President Tinubu and the First Lady were greeted with a 42-gun salute from the King’s Troop Royal Horse Artillery, as royal and Nigerian flags adorned the streets of Windsor. They were also formally presented to the Royal Family by Prince William and Princess Catherine of Wales.

The two-day state visit, hosted by King Charles III, is expected to strengthen bilateral ties and foster new partnerships. A state banquet is scheduled for Wednesday evening at St George’s Hall, attended by the King, Queen Camilla, and the Prince and Princess of Wales.
