As part of ongoing efforts to curb the cholera outbreak in Lagos State, the Lagos State Traditional Medicine Board has initiated advocacy and inspection activities across Lagos Island and surrounding areas. Led by Registrar Babatunde Adele, the team inspected various locations including Oshodi, Epetedo, Adeniji Adele, Anikantamo, Pelewura, and Oja-Oba, emphasizing the importance of using treated water and maintaining sanitary conditions.

During these inspections, the team sensitized local traditional medicine practitioners on the necessity of adhering to health and hygiene standards. Practitioners were urged to follow the code of conduct for traditional medicine practice, which includes maintaining a clean and safe environment to prevent the spread of cholera.
