The Lagos State Police Command has confirmed the rescue of the abducted Fouani brothers and two others. The command’s spokesperson, Benjamin Hundeyin, announced the successful operation via a text message on Tuesday.
Abbas, Youssef, and Amtal Fouani, who were kidnapped on June 14 around 6 PM in Lagos, were rescued last night in Orugbo Iddo by the Marine Police. One of the brothers serves as the Managing Director of Fouani Nigeria Limited, a key distributor of LG, Hisense, and Maxi electronics in Nigeria. The brothers were abducted while returning from their factory by boat.

A source, requesting anonymity due to the incident's sensitivity, revealed that the kidnappers had contacted the victims' families demanding ransom. However, the police successfully rescued the brothers without further incident.
Hundeyin confirmed that the three Lebanese brothers, along with their boat captain and his assistant, were brought to shore with the support of the Nigerian Navy. The police's tactical team then safely escorted them to their home on Banana Island early this morning.
