After hours of collation, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as the winner of the Ondo State gubernatorial election.
Aiyedatiwa secured **366,718 votes**, defeating his closest rival, Agboola Ajayi of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), who garnered **117,845 votes**.
The victory ensures Aiyedatiwa’s continuation as governor, with the APC maintaining its hold on Ondo State.
INEC commended the peaceful conduct of the election, which saw a significant voter turnout across the state. Governor Aiyedatiwa expressed gratitude to the people of Ondo for their trust and promised to further drive development in his second term.
