Man City to Face Newcastle in Carabao Cup Semi-Finals

The English Football League has confirmed the fixtures for the Carabao Cup semi-finals, with Manchester City set to take on defending champions Newcastle United.

The draw, released late Wednesday night on the EFL website, came after both sides secured their spots in the last four. Manchester City booked their place with a comfortable 2–0 win over Brentford, while Newcastle edged past Fulham thanks to a dramatic stoppage-time header from Lewis Miley.

Chelsea are also through to the semi-finals after a hard-fought 3–1 away victory over Cardiff City on Tuesday. The Blues, however, will have to wait to find out their opponents, as they are scheduled to face the winners of the quarter-final clash between Arsenal and Crystal Palace, set for Tuesday, December 23, at the Emirates Stadium.
