NAF Air Strikes Decimate Terrorist Camps in Zamfara State

The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has conducted air strikes in Zamfara state, resulting in the elimination of many terrorists at the camps of kingpins Abdullahi Nasanda in Zurmi Local Government Area and Mallam Tukur in Gusau Local Government Area. The air strikes, carried out on April 10, were based on Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) missions, according to NAF spokesperson Air Vice Marshal Edward Gabkwet.

Following ISR missions that confirmed the terrorists' activities, multiple aircraft passes were used to strike the locations, neutralizing several terrorists. Similar missions were conducted at Mallam Tukur Camp, where terrorists' activities were observed and subsequently targeted. The air strikes led to the neutralization of several terrorists and the destruction of structures at the camp.

The NAF also extended its air strikes to Kani kawa in Maradun town, under Maradun Local Government Area of Zamfara State. The strikes targeted terrorists, their enclaves, and equipment, resulting in significant damage to their infrastructure. The operations demonstrate the NAF's commitment to combating terrorism in Zamfara state and ensuring the safety of residents in the region.
