Auwal Dankode, an employee of the Nigeria Aviation Handling Company (NAHCO), has been widely praised for his integrity after returning $10,000, approximately N16 million, which he found while cleaning an aircraft at Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport in Kano.
Dankode, a native of Kode in Kano State, discovered the cash during his routine cleaning duties and immediately reported it to the airline company’s manager. His selfless act has been highlighted as a testament to the importance of honesty and accountability in the workplace.
Security analyst and counter-insurgency expert, Zagazola Makaman, shared the story on the X platform, lauding Dankode for his strong fear of God and integrity.
