The Naira appreciated on Friday, trading at N1,540.78 to the dollar at the official market, gaining N35.32 from the previous rate. This marks a 2.24% increase compared to Thursday's exchange rate of N1,576.10.
According to data from the FMDQ Exchange, the total daily turnover decreased to $212.31 million, a significant drop from the $334.05 million recorded the previous day.
In the Investor's and Exporter’s (I&E) window, the Naira fluctuated between N1,691 and N1,530 against the dollar, reflecting ongoing volatility in the foreign exchange market. The recent gain shows a positive shift despite lower trading volumes.
