Youths under the Coalition of Niger Delta Youths Stakeholders (CNDYS) in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, held a massive solidarity rally to support President Bola Tinubu and his administration. The rally, which also aimed to thank the President for appointing Dr. Dennis Otuaro as the Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP), drew a large crowd of enthusiastic participants.

The youths, carrying placards and wearing T-shirts and Fez caps with the inscription "We appreciate the Jagaban on appointment of Otuaro," marched over one kilometer from Okutukutu to the Tombia roundabout. They chanted solidarity songs and expressed gratitude to President Tinubu for appointing capable leaders like Dr. Samuel Ogbuku and Senator Heineken Lokpobiri to key positions.

Apostle Bodmas Kemepadei, the convener of the coalition, highlighted the unity and support of youth groups across the Niger Delta states. He praised President Tinubu for Otuaro's appointment, believing it would bring peace to the region and end restiveness and gun violence.

Kemepadei noted that President Tinubu's leadership had brought relative peace to the Niger Delta, citing the award of surveillance contracts to local leaders to secure oil pipelines. He expressed confidence that Otuaro's appointment would further stabilize the region.

Hellington Barakumor, the deputy coordinator of the group, described Otuaro's appointment as well-deserved and pledged the youths' commitment to ensuring peace and unity in the Niger Delta. The rally demonstrated strong support for President Tinubu and his efforts to bring development and peace to the region.
