The Director-General of the National Youth Service Corps, Brigadier General Olakunle Nafiu, has encouraged Corps Members to embrace the core values of the scheme throughout their service year and beyond.
In a message shared on NYSC’s X handle on Tuesday, Nafiu addressed the 2025 Batch ‘C’ Corps Members currently undergoing Orientation in Rivers State. He urged them to remain patriotic and allow integrity, efficiency, transparency, and commitment to guide their conduct.
Commending them for answering the call to serve, he encouraged the young Nigerians to make meaningful contributions to national development during and after their service year.

Earlier, the NYSC Rivers State Coordinator, Mr. Moses Oleghe, presented a report on camp activities. He noted that the 2,586 Corps Members in camp had so far demonstrated discipline, patriotism, and dedication.
Nafiu’s address highlights the scheme’s continued commitment to shaping responsible, value-driven youth capable of contributing positively to the growth of the nation.
