Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa of Ondo State has affirmed that the All Progressives Congress (APC) will not underestimate any candidate from other political parties in the state's upcoming November 16 governorship election.
Speaking at a gathering organized by 'Friends of Lucky' in Akure to celebrate his victory at the APC primaries, Aiyedatiwa thanked the people of Ondo State for their support and appreciated the party leaders and event organizers.
Acknowledging the efforts of his supporters across the state, he emphasized that the victory in the primary election was just the beginning, and there is still much ground to cover in the forthcoming election.
The event's Organizing Committee Chairman, Mrs. Bukola Tenabe, stated that the gathering was to honor Governor Aiyedatiwa for his resounding victory in the APC primary election and to appreciate his supporters.
Chief Atili Adaba, the Deputy State Chairman of the APC, congratulated the governor on his victory and commended the organizers for their efforts. He described Aiyedatiwa's victory as well-deserved.
Representing the Speaker, Olamide Oladiji, the Majority Leader of the Ondo State House of Assembly, Oluwole Ogunmolasuyi, reiterated the house's support for the governor, describing him as a product of grace.
Mr. Adewale Akinlosotu, the Commissioner for Information, speaking on behalf of the State Executive Council, emphasized the need for unity within the APC, stating that the party is one big family working towards success in the upcoming gubernatorial election.
Dr. Abiola Oshodi, representing APC Canada, congratulated the governor, expressing confidence in the people of Ondo State to vote for him on November 16.
Victor Olabimtan, a former speaker of the state's assembly and Chairman of SUBEB, described Governor Aiyedatiwa as a product of mercy and predicted unprecedented success for the APC in the election.
