Osimhen hits brace as Galatasaray defeat Bodo/Glimt 3–1 in Champions League Clash

Victor Osimhen was the star of the show on Wednesday night, scoring twice to lead Galatasaray to a 3–1 win over Bodo/Glimt in their UEFA Champions League clash at the RAMS Park.

The Nigerian striker wasted no time making his mark, opening the scoring in just the third minute with a precise strike from the edge of the box after a neat assist from Mario Lemina.

He doubled Galatasaray’s advantage around the 31st minute, capitalizing on a defensive blunder from the visitors to calmly slot in his second of the night.

With that brace, the 26-year-old wrote his name into the club’s record books, becoming only the second player ever to score in seven straight European matches for Galatasaray.

Yunus Akgun made it 3–0 on the hour mark to put the result beyond doubt, though Bodo/Glimt’s Andreas Helmersen pulled one back late on.

Osimhen, who received a standing ovation from the home supporters, was later substituted for Mauro Icardi with 17 minutes remaining — a well-deserved rest after yet another match-winning performance.
