Osun PDP Holds Ward Congress in 214 Wards, Assures Tight Security

The chairman of the electoral committee for the 2025 Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) ward congress in Osun State, Dr Samuel Omotoso, has assured party members of adequate security across all 214 wards where the exercise is taking place.

Speaking after a stakeholders’ meeting in Ile-Ife, Adewusi dismissed concerns of division, saying the disagreements were now resolved.

“We have forgotten the past and turned over a new leaf. PDP is united; there is no division. Even the tongue and mouth sometimes disagree, but today everything has been resolved. It’s a storm in a teacup,” he said.

The reconciliation, backed by Governor Ademola Adeleke and other party leaders, has been hailed as a step toward strengthening unity ahead of fu
