The People's Democratic Party (PDP) caucus in the House of Representatives has called on all party caucuses and stakeholders to withdraw all pending court cases hindering the party from electing a substantive national chairman. Additionally, they have given the federal government a three-month ultimatum to address and resolve the country's insecurity issues. The caucus warned that if no action is taken, they will mobilize Nigerians to take their security into their own hands.

Following a meeting at the Minority Leader's conference room, Minority Leader Kingsley Chinda emphasized the need for immediate reconciliation measures within the party to regain its position in the country. He stressed the caucus's unity and commitment to their role as the watchdog for the Nigerian people.

Regarding security concerns, Chinda expressed the caucus's dissatisfaction with the current state of affairs, describing Nigeria as a country where every life lost is met with a minute of silence. The caucus demanded swift government action to normalize the security situation within three months. Failure to do so would lead the caucus to rally Nigerians to potentially take control of their own security.

Furthermore, the House caucus urged the PDP leadership to reconcile all party factions and resolve pending litigations that have obstructed the election of a substantive national chairman. They called on PDP leaders to demonstrate unwavering loyalty to the party and work towards reclaiming its position as Africa's largest party. The caucus pledged to return to the House with a strong, purpose-driven opposition to give the people a voice in parliament. They also called on the Senate Leadership to recall their colleague, Abdul Ningi, describing him as a veteran politician and parliamentarian of excellence.
