Police Appoints New PRO for Lagos Airport Command

The Inspector-General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, has approved the appointment of Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Mohammed Adeola as the new Public Relations Officer of the Airport Police Command in Lagos State.

The announcement was made on Monday through a statement issued by the Command and signed by the outgoing PRO, Chief Superintendent of Police Daramola Kazeem. The posting is part of a recent redeployment of Public Relations Officers across various commands and formations of the Nigeria Police Force.

ASP Adeola, who hails from Ibadan, Oyo State, is a graduate of the Nigeria Police Academy. He joined the Force in 2018 as a Cadet ASP under Regular Course 5 and graduated in 2023 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry. At the end of his training, he was honoured as the Best Cadet Officer in Character.

After his commissioning, Adeola was posted to the Osun State Command, where he served at the Ota-Efun Division. During his time there, he handled key policing duties such as crime investigation, traffic control and administrative tasks. He was later redeployed to the Force Headquarters in Abuja, where he worked as a Staff Officer in the Force Public Relations Department.
