A 39-year-old senior officer of the Federal Road Safety Corps, Funmilayo Oluwamayokun, and her teenage daughter, Sewa Lasisi, have been declared missing in Ogun State.
According to a statement released on Friday by the Ogun State Police Public Relations Officer, Omolola Odutola, the mother and daughter left their home in Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, on Sunday and have not been seen since.
Oluwamayokun, a Superintendent Route Commander, is a high-ranking operational officer in the FRSC, responsible for overseeing major routes and coordinating enforcement operations. Family members and colleagues say all attempts to reach her or her daughter on their phones have failed.
Part of the police statement reads:
“The Ogun State Police Command is seeking the assistance of the general public in locating one SRC Lasisi Funmilayo Oluwamayokun, a 38-year-old female officer of the Federal Road Safety Corps, Abeokuta Unit, and her daughter, Sewa Lasisi, who have been declared missing.”
According to the report filed at the Kemta Divisional Police Headquarters on Tuesday, November 5, 2025, the officer and her daughter left their Obasanjo Hilltop Estate residence on Sunday morning and never returned.
