President Bola Tinubu, a high-level delegation from the United Nations, and prominent bank CEOs are set to attend the second edition of the Anambra State Business Summit, hosted by Governor Prof. Chukwuma Soludo. The summit, scheduled for November 14, 2024, will be held at the newly inaugurated 12,000-seat International Convention Centre (ICC) in Awka, marking a significant step in Anambra's economic development.
Governor Soludo aims to build on his experience from the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) by establishing the Anambra Financial Corporation (AFC), an initiative designed to foster local investment and economic stability in the state. The AFC will drive financial inclusion, support small and medium enterprises, and enhance Anambra’s standing as a commercial hub.
The summit is expected to attract investors and showcase Anambra's potential, setting the stage for economic transformation in the region.
