President Bola Tinubu has assured the nation's workforce that the issues preventing the Tripartite Committee on Minimum Wage from reaching a consensus will soon be resolved. Speaking at the May Day Commemoration ceremony in Abuja, Tinubu, represented by Vice President Kashim Shettima, assured workers that their days of worries are over.
Tinubu stated that his administration is open to the Tripartite Committee's suggestion of a living wage above the minimum wage. He called on Organised Labour to collaborate with his administration in its efforts to achieve growth and development for Nigeria.
