Rivers Sole Administrator, Ibok-Ette Ibas, Attends NEC Meeting as Delta Governor Oborevwori Makes His Debut

The Sole Administrator of Rivers State, Vice Admiral Ibok-Ette Ibas, is currently participating in the National Economic Council (NEC) meeting, which is being presided over by Vice President Kashim Shettima at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

Governor Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta State, who recently defected from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC), was also present at the high-level meeting, marking his debut in the NEC forum.

Other notable governors spotted at the meeting include Benue State Governor, Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Alia; Kwara State Governor, Abdulrahman Abdulrazak; Edo State Governor, Monday Okpebholo; and Cross River State Governor, Bassey Otu, along with several deputy governors.

The NEC meeting, which is chaired by Vice President Shettima, focuses on pressing national issues and serves as a platform for discussing matters of great importance to the country's development and governance.
