President of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio, has extended heartfelt congratulations to the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Alhaji Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, Ph.D., on his 75th birthday. In a statement by his special adviser on media and publicity, Hon. Eseme Eyiboh, Akpabio described Ganduje as a dedicated democrat, an exceptional leader, and a true party stalwart.
Akpabio praised Ganduje’s contributions to Nigeria’s democracy, highlighting his achievements as a two-time deputy governor and two-term governor of Kano State. He credited Ganduje's leadership for strengthening the APC, citing electoral victories in Ondo and Edo States, as well as increased party unity and growing defections from opposition members under his stewardship.
