Philip Ogunnaike, a suspected serial killer, has pleaded for a death sentence after being arrested in Ogun State for the murder of three young women. In a video shared by Police Public Relations Officer Omolola Odutola, Ogunnaike confessed to the killings and requested that he and his accomplices, including a man named Danjuma who allegedly initiated him into the Eiye confraternity, be sentenced to death without trial. He stated, “I don’t want anything other than for them to kill us.”
The 29-year-old suspect was arrested following the deaths of 18-year-old Akinsanya Habibat, 22-year-old Abigail Dina, and 23-year-old Mary Ogunyemi. According to police investigations, Ogunnaike lured his victims into the forest, where he tied, strangled, and left their bodies after stealing their phones. He confessed to the killings and led the police to the locations where the murders took place.
