Terrorist Kingpin “Kartakwa” and Lieutenants Killed in Katsina Clash

A notorious terrorist kingpin, Usman Modi Modi, known as "Kartakwa," was among several individuals killed in a fierce clash between rival groups in Katsina. The clash, involving Modi Modi of Kanta Camp and Abdulkarim Faca Faca of Marina Camp, occurred around 2:00 PM.

During the confrontation, Usman Modi Modi and four of his lieutenants, including Mankare, Gunki Ummadau, Dogo Jabi Birinya Bayan Dutsin, and Harisu Babba Yauni, were killed. The clash took place in Safana and Kurfi Local Government Areas (LGAs), where Modi Modi and his cohorts had been terrorizing local communities.

Abdulkarim Faca Faca, leading the opposing group, is known for similar acts in Marina, Safana, and Batsari LGAs. Two other terrorists, Usaini Yauni and Abdulrahman Jankare Gangare, sustained serious injuries in the clash, with efforts underway to apprehend the remaining criminals.
