My unbiased dictionary definies a bandit as a robber or outlaw belonging to a gang and typically operating in an isolated or lawless area on the other hand, a terrorist is a person who uses unlawful violence and intimidation, especially against civilians, in the pursuit of political aims. If we expand the logic both the bandit and terrorist are one and the same person. Both of them are lawless, intimidate and kill civilians.
Banditry for example, includes armed robbery, murder, rape and cattle rustling. More than anything else, he undermines farming cultivation, agro-allied and industrial expansion.
