Ubi Franklin Warns of Legal Action Over Online Attacks on Davido, Chioma

Music executive Ubi Franklin has issued a strong warning to individuals allegedly involved in coordinated online harassment targeting Davido, his wife Chioma Adeleke, and members of the Adeleke family.

In a series of posts shared on X on Tuesday, Franklin—who identifies himself as Chioma’s manager—hinted at what he described as disturbing conversations taking place in private group chats aimed at the couple.

“You know people are evil right? The message I see on this group chat is just,” he wrote, suggesting the existence of organised trolling efforts.

In a follow-up message, he took a firmer stance, warning that those responsible would soon be held accountable. He stressed that legal steps would be taken in line with due process.

“One after the other, you will explain to law enforcement what Chef Chi has done to all of you. Just keep opening groups to bully her,” he said.

Franklin added that he, Davido, and the Adeleke family were prepared to pursue the matter legally, insisting that the alleged harassment had crossed the line from criticism into targeted bullying.

His comments point to what he claims is a pattern of coordinated attacks carried out across multiple online platforms and group chats, aimed specifically at Chioma, popularly known as Chef Chi.

Chioma has long been a subject of intense social media attention, largely due to her relationship with Davido. Discussions about her often range from commentary on her fashion and lifestyle to broader fan-driven narratives tied to Davido’s public life.

However, Franklin maintains that the recent wave of online activity goes beyond normal celebrity scrutiny and should be treated as cyberbullying, with legal consequences for those involved.
