The Super Falcons made a stylish arrival in Rabat, Morocco, on Saturday as they kicked off their quest for an unprecedented 11th Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) title.
The defending champions stepped off the team bus dressed in elegant green-and-white Adire gowns paired with matching headwraps, proudly showcasing Nigeria’s rich cultural heritage ahead of the tournament.
The players also took time to share the moment with fans on social media, posting photos and fun videos in their traditional outfits.
Esther Okoronkwo, Jennifer Echegini and Michelle Alozie delighted fans with a playful "Rich Aunty Vibes" video, while goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie entertained followers with humorous skits and poses. Defender Tosin Demehin and forward Folashade Ijamilusi also joined in, sharing pictures celebrating the team's colourful arrival.
The Super Falcons arrived in Rabat after completing a 10-day training camp in Casablanca, where head coach Justine Madugu prepared the squad for the continental championship.

The nine-time? No—10-time African champions will begin their Group C campaign against Malawi on Tuesday at the Al Madina Stadium in Rabat. They will then face Zambia on Saturday, August 1, before wrapping up the group stage against Egypt on Wednesday, August 5, at the Olympic Stadium.
Ahead of the tournament, the Nigeria Football Federation also unveiled a special Super Falcons jersey featuring 10 stars surrounding the national crest, with each star representing one of the team's WAFCON triumphs.
The commemorative jersey celebrates Nigeria's remarkable dominance in African women's football as the Falcons aim to extend their legacy with another continental crown in Morocco.
