The Abia State Police Command has officially dismissed Corporal Obagi Njok from service following the conclusion of an investigation and orderly room trial. Njok, who was attached to the Abayi Police Division in Osisioma Local Government Area, was found guilty of killing Emmanuel Okocha, an Aba businessman, in April.

The dismissal comes after the command's spokesperson, Maureen Chinaka, confirmed that Njok was found guilty of discreditable conduct, specifically misuse of a firearm, and was handed over to the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice Abia State for prosecution in court.
