Actor Pope Obumneme Odonwodo, popularly known as Junior Pope, has tragically passed away. Junior Pope and three colleagues were on their way back from a movie shoot when their boat capsized in Anam River, Anambra State. The Nation reports that all four bodies have been recovered.
Hours before the accident, Pope had shared a video from the boat, where he was seen praying fervently. The incident took place on Wednesday as they were returning from the film location. Junior Pope is survived by his wife and three children.
