Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, has unveiled a significant investment of ₦60 billion by the state government to support Ibom Air's fleet expansion. The funds will be used to acquire two new Bombardier CRJ900 aircraft, aimed at boosting air transportation in the region. The governor emphasized that the state has funded this project without relying on external loans, showcasing his administration's prudent fiscal management.
