Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje, the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), expressed strong confidence in the party's success in the upcoming Edo governorship election scheduled for September 21. Speaking during a meeting with the Kano State Correspondents’ Chapel, Ganduje highlighted the party's strategic preparations and political machinery aimed at securing a decisive victory.
Ganduje emphasized that the APC is well-positioned to reclaim Edo State, which was previously governed by the party but lost to the PDP due to internal issues. He reassured that the APC's campaign is robust and optimistic about recovering the state.
Looking ahead, Ganduje also addressed the upcoming November election in Ondo State, asserting that the APC has resolved past issues and is prepared to maintain its governance there. He underscored the party’s efforts to expand its influence, targeting Anambra next year as part of a broader strategy to strengthen its presence in the South-East geopolitical zone.
Ganduje further detailed the APC's plans to increase its control across the country, aiming to consolidate power and address claims of marginalization from various political zones. The party's goal is to capture more states and reinforce its dominance in Nigerian politics.
