The All Progressives Congress (APC) has instructed its members through the National Working Committee (NWC) to halt all legal cases filed in the party's name. The NWC issued a directive giving members seven days to discontinue or withdraw such lawsuits, warning of sanctions for non-compliance.

This decision was made during the 146th meeting of the party's highest administrative body in Abuja. In a statement by the National Secretary, Senator Ajibola Basiru, the NWC emphasized the importance of maintaining the unity and integrity of the party.

The NWC resolution stated that ongoing cases filed in the name of the party or concerning party matters involving its members must be withdrawn from the courts within seven days. Failure to comply would lead to disciplinary action, including immediate suspension and possible expulsion from the party.

The directive was specifically directed at the APC's local chapter in Benue State, emphasizing the need for prompt adherence. Basiru, a senior advocate, highlighted the significance of resolving legal matters internally to preserve the cohesion and focus of the APC.
