Arsenal's pursuit of Napoli striker Victor Osimhen has taken a new turn, with the Premier League club now reportedly considering a move for Girona star Artem Dovbyk. Despite ongoing interest in Osimhen, Arsenal is unwilling to meet Napoli's €120 million release clause for the Nigerian forward. Instead, they have proposed an offer of €75 million.
According to Calcio Napoli24, Arsenal is steadfast in their decision not to pay Osimhen's full release clause. While Osimhen is open to leaving Napoli if a suitable offer is made, Arsenal's offer falls short of Napoli's demands. In light of this, Arsenal has made inquiries about Dovbyk, whose release clause ranges from €40 million to €50 million, or approximately £34 million to £42 million, according to Sport Witness. Considering Osimhen's potential £113 million price tag, Dovbyk could be a more economical option.
