Chelsea have left Raheem Sterling out of their official 31-man squad for the 2025/26 season, signaling a likely end to his time at Stamford Bridge. The England winger, who spent last season on loan at Arsenal, is among nine players the club is actively seeking to offload under new manager Enzo Maresca.
Sterling is reportedly attracting interest from Napoli, Fulham, and Bayer Leverkusen, but his future remains uncertain as Chelsea continue reshaping the squad following their Club World Cup triumph.
Other notable omissions from the squad include Ben Chilwell and Axel Disasi, both of whom were regulars in past campaigns. The club's summer overhaul has seen the arrival of new signings like Jorrel Hato from Ajax, further crowding out fringe players.
Christopher Nkunku, despite transfer speculation, remains in the squad, while Chelsea prepare to face Bayer Leverkusen and AC Milan in pre-season friendlies before their Premier League opener against Crystal Palace on August 17.
