A magistrate court in Ado-Ekiti has granted bail to human rights activist Dele Farotimi in the sum of ₦30 million.
The development was announced by Omoyele Sowore, the 2023 African Action Congress (AAC) presidential candidate, via his X (formerly Twitter) account on Friday.
Bail Conditions
Farotimi's bail includes stringent conditions:
- A ₦30 million bond.
- Two sureties, one of whom must be a property owner.
- Submission of his international passport.
- A restriction on granting media interviews.
